Investing ahead of the requirement

Stator is structured as a permanent R&D institution, not a project shop. That means we invest in work that may not pay off for years — university partnerships, standards participation, and ecosystem-building that strengthen the field itself, not just our own pipeline.

Every effort here is chosen to sustain that register: serious, forward-looking, and connected to real engineering outcomes.

University capstone sponsorship

We sponsor senior capstone projects at engineering programs — giving students real constraints, real mentors, and problems that matter. It is our talent pipeline and our contribution to the next generation of systems engineers who will build the capabilities defense and industry need.

A novel airframe feasibility study — real constraints, real analysis, real engineering judgment applied to an unanswered design question.

TAMU ESET

Custom audio electronics hardware — from requirements through schematic, layout, and a working prototype built to a defined specification.

Standards and ecosystem work

Open architecture only works if the standards are real, testable, and adopted. Stator participates in the standards bodies and working groups that define OMS, UCI, and the AMS GRA — contributing conformance tooling, reference implementations, and the engineering perspective of people who have to build to the standard, not just write it.
